SRC Slip Safety Footwear

To achieve the SRC rating, safety footwear is tested on two surfaces: a ceramic tile with a lubricant and a steel floor with a lubricant. The slip resistance is measured based on the coefficient of friction (CoF) of the footwear on these surfaces. The CoF measures the grip or friction between the sole of the shoe and the floor, with a higher CoF indicating better slip resistance.
